Minimal Landscape
I've been playing with the concept of minimal landscape for a while now and will post some of these images in the coming days. This is an abandoned eucalyptus grove, originally to be used for paper pulp production, there are acres and acres planted on old sugar land up and down the windward coast of the island of Hawaii. This was shot with an old tamron zoom that has taken some serious of hard knocks through the years and has some weird focus issues. Large areas of the image have serious ghosting and blur, kind of like a Holga lens. Click on the image to see a larger version. The whole right side of the picture breaks up in an agreeable sort of way.
