Storm

A wet week here in the middle of the pacific, the first snow of the season fell on the summit of Mauna Kea and down here in the tropical rain forest we had a fire going all day in the wood stove. There was a "puddle" in the road so deep that the bow wave went over the hood of the truck when we drove through it. They don't call it the rain forest for nothing!
